Unlike most people here it seems, I didn’t apply for IU until maybe March. Got my acceptance a couple weeks later, and since it is my second-choice school (got waitlisted at my first choice, so…), I’ve been trying to figure out the housing. I sent in the application yesterday, but then I realized the “priority housing deadline” was like a week ago.

Does anyone know:
- How long it takes (after you send in your app) for them to tell you what hall/neighborhood/etc. you’ll be in? I’ve seen that most don’t get actual room assignments until May or later, but I’ve also seen people already knowing if they got into the place they want.
- If the residence scholars would be full by now already? (first preference)
- If the global village would be full by now already? (second preference)
- Do I have to send in the yes-I’m-enrolling fee ($100) for them to consider my housing application. I haven’t yet since money is a bit tight, but if I have to in order for them to give me the housing decision, I’ll ask my mom @____@
