<p>i strongly advise for you to take the sat once before taking a class. i paid over $1000 for a class before actually taking the sat. my math tutor was really discouraging and basically convinced me to let go of my high hopes. </p>
<p>i took the sat, and scored really badly… then about 8 months later i retook it without studying (AT ALL) and scored 350 points higher. </p>
<p>you might be more capable than what you think! </p>
<p>i just thought i should share this because for a while i thought i could not get into any decent college with my score and i would stalk these threads looking for any reassurement (when i really should have just been studying). vast improvement is really really possible</p>
