<p>Why do people care so much? Every third topic here is “Z0mfG is mah Esai 2 long or 2 shurt loL?” Most colleges specifically say that there aren’t any cutoff lengths, and yet the people here constant ask whether X college has one as if it might have it in secret despite what it publicly says. If an essay is enthralling, then I bet adcoms would be quite happy to read 1500 words. If an essay makes the reader feel like they have cancer, then I doubt adcoms can stomach 100. Anyone agree/disagree?</p>
