~some true thoughts~

With my friend’s help, I was so surprised to find out this wonderful website that has brought so many penn students with different backgrounds together. I really should have discovered this site earlier so that I might have had a possibility to find a situable roommate living with me. But I know it is too late to talk about this stuff right now since the deadline for submitting dorm applications has passed already.

Therefore, I want to have more interactions with people here at CC. Here are some interesting and unique personal information about myself.

~name: Angelina
~birthplace: Shanghai, China
~years of staying in US: 4 years & 8 months & 18 days
~interests: reading Chinese novels written by young famous adolescents, such as Han Han and Jin Ming Guo (Does anyone here know these 2 prominent young authors?), listening to music (R&B, epecially in Chiense, and piano music is a +), and writing short love stories
~favorite coffee shop: starbucks!
~favorite chatting system: QQ
~favorite American novel: The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
~favorite NBA team: San Anatonio Spurs (go spurs go!)
~favorite NBA player: Tony Parker :-P

That’s it for now. I’m going to add more later on when I think of more stuff.
ps. Is anyone here from NYC also going to Penn in the coming fall? I am really interested in knowing you guys so that we might have some fun before going to Penn. How’s this deal?

The Fountainhead? Oh god. If you then say you’re in Wharton/econ/Going to transfer I may have to groan heavily.

hehe…but then i’m not going to wharton though…are you in wharton?

Yes and no.

Honestly though, Ayn Rand…Thank god you’re not in Wharton.

You didn’t answer though…are you econ? cough

nope…not econ…
why yes and no?

I liked the Fountainhead a lot too! Nice to meet you blueants!

I’m in wharton/engineering, but I’m dropping both. Hoorah! (and it’s not because of grades, because I’m doing quite well, and not because of workload, just a legitimate hatred of Wharton and an obscene love of Math)

really? super cool…its such a pleasure to have ppl who share the same interests as mine…

You’re going to major in math?!

JCoveney - are you doing a dual degree?

well…i love math and science with a strong passion…however, i know that i’m not “intelligent” to major in a math degree…and many other reasons also play an important role…engineering is the major i am really interested in applying…but i didnt…sigh…i added ur sn…didnt see u on though last night…

Blueants, I’ll be free to talk after today, after finals are over :D

And rccys: I’m currently doing business/engineering (M&T), but I want to xfer to the college and do math (hopefully submatriculate).

u college kids r so lucky…
ur summer vacation is just around the corner…
we hs students still have 1.5 extremely “boring” months to go…555

Yeah, but I also just had a bunch of exams :D

i’m already out of high school blueants
now I’m just counting down the days till Penn

JC: when r u going to start summer vacation? what finals r u going to take?

Pen: really? good for u…where r u, btw?

I’m done now. I had CSE260, ie mathematical foundations of computer science, this morning. My summer vacation starts now! But I have summer school :X

why do guys love either computer sci or engineering…nothing else?
wow…ur summer vacation starts now…and mine seems so distant and vague…

I love other things…why do you think I don’t? ONe class does not a passion necessarily make. I enjoy CS, certainly, and math is my major passion, but I enjoy the gamut of subjects, especially philosophy, economics, history, and so on.

ok…i also love philosophy…which i used to think to be majored in…
what do u do for fun then?
