Some Writing Qs

Anna Warrem, an accomplished painter whose art has been shown in museums and galleries throughout America and Europe,

C) has become equally well known for her landscapes and still-lifes
E) has become as well known for her landscapes as for her still-lifes

E

I know why E) is correct but I think C) is also correct. :/

When one of my seizures…paralyzed, if only for a moment.

A) strikes, I feel as if I were
C) strike, I feel like I was

A

What’s the difference?

Thanks for taking your time! :)

c contains a problem in parallelism for her landsacpes and for her still-lifes

ii don’t know what is wrong with C i answered (A) simply because (a) sounded better

(C) is a subject-verb error. “one of” is singular, so “strike” is wrong.
