I have no idea where to start looking for colleges outside of my state, Utah. Here’s my breakdown. I’m set on going into engineering, and pursuing a masters degree in that field. I am also interested in majoring in physics as well, and minoring in a business area.

My stats:
ACT: 31
GPA: 3.7
AP Tests I have taken and passed: Euro, American History, Art History, Psychology, Biology, Environmental Science
AP Tests I’m taking this year: English Lit, English Lang, Calc AB, Physics C, Statistics, US Government

The college I’d go to needs to have great financial aid. I’m already applying at Washington University in Saint Louis.

Thank you!

Use a good college search engine to generate a starting list of engineering schools. Do you know what type of engineering you are interested in? That will sometimes help narrow it down. You will get better results if you don’t put in physics or business as majors for the search (it will find any school with physics OR business OR engineering) and you would get too many matches.
Use the SuperMatch here on CC, or College Navigator [College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics](College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics) or the College Board. I like College Navigator because it allows you to download the results to a spreadsheet.

Do you what your family’s EFC is? If it is low then you need to focus on schools that meet 100% of need. If the EFC is high you need to focus on schools with good merit aid- use these tables to find them :

Also you need to specify what else matters to you. City/suburbs/rural, regions of the country and/or states, Greek life, varsity sports, size of college, LAC-feel versus university etc. etc.
Since you mentioned WUSTL, I’ll throw out a few: Case Western, U. Rochester, B.U., Northeastern, GWU, Syracuse, RPI, WPI.
