<p>I received about 14k from this scholarship, but I have no idea why I have it lol (not that I am complaining!). Is it based off of merit or need, and is the 14k per year or for all four years?</p>

<p>I got one of those last year. It was never really explained, but it’s basically part of your financial aid package, so (at least mostly) based off need. You can expect it to carry through (and possibly increase some) across your four years, although if your family’s financial situation changes drastically that might not be the case. Just out of curiosity, what are you studying? I was going for Physics/CompSci, so I’m wondering if there’s a trend.</p>
