Something about Polar Areas...

How often do the AP Exams asks you for two polar equations and their intersections?

I am just making this on the fly, so I don’t know if the numbers will work out.

Let’s say theta = x

r = 5x + cos2x is on the graph, find the area that r = 5 intersects. Would they ask this type of question? or is it just straight forward, given the polar equation r = 5x + cos2x, find the area etc…?

Polar graphs are really rare for the FR.

I don’t really know. I guess the second one would appear more on the FR than the first one.
