Hey I’m in my freshman fall quarter at University of Washington but it’s really not my vibe and honestly I didn’t want to go here in the first place. I’m not a big fan of the sorority I joined and I really want to get out of this state (I went to high school fifteen minutes away). I was accepted to the Trojan Transfer program last year to go to switzerland or something and then enter USC as a sophomore. I decided not to do that, and I don’t think I would do well at USC, but I’m wondering if there are programs like that at other schools??
What are you looking for? A guaranteed transfer program, or a study abroad option?
Unless you leave your U for a community college that has articulation agreements with plces you like better, you’ve missed your chance for guaranteed transfer.
There are scads of universities that would be happy to accept you as a transfer applicant provided you keep your grades up. If you are utterly unhappy where you are, take a leave of absence at the end of this quarter, and spend some time working up a list of places to apply to.
