Sometimes you need a little patience...

S1, who took 7 years and 2 schools to get his undergraduate degree, is now finishing up his MS and yesterday was accepted into the PhD program of his choice.

Whoda thunk???

Many congratulations!

Congratulations to your son!!!

Thanks for the encouraging update. I need to hear that right now!! I’m happy for your son and YOU!

WAHOOO, UMDAD!!! Patience is what they should give away at the hospital when you bring home your child!!! It’s needed even more than diapers and baby lotion!! :)

Congrats! S#1 here is about 7 years in and will get a BA very soon, it seems. He has taken classes at different schools while living at home and moved with us (requiring a change of CC) so the “school count” is very high.

My dad used to joke about my brother that he should write a book called “College: The First 10 Years”.

Even he ultimately graduated and became a productive member of society.

Wonderful news UMDAD! Congratulations!

Fantastic! Congratulations!

Wow! Congrats! What will he study, if you can say?

Sounds like a favorite line from Animal House: College. Seven years wasted.

UMDAD, a celebration is in order!

Very cool!

Well they do say that graduating from college early is like leaving a great party at 11:00 p.m.

S1 stuck around until 5:00 a.m.

Congratulations! It took my niece 2 schools and 10 years to graduate from college, but she made it also.

Ooooh, this makes me happy–there’s hope! (says the mom whose S left in his senior year, five years ago…) Congrats to you and your S, UMdad!
