Sonoma, here I come!

<p>Living up to the promise that I would keep you all updated. :)</p>

<p>To start, I received the last report card I’ll EVER get from my high school yesterday!</p>

<p>I also got my SLC seal to put on my diploma today, so I’m officially done with my HS! ^_^</p>

<p>AND…
This Monday, I’m headed up with my parents to Sonoma State for my freshman orientation!!!</p>

<p>It’s a 2-day program, and I even get to spend the night in the dorms that I’ll be living in starting in August :)</p>

* Break-out sessions by School - Meet the Dean, learn about your school, and find out what it takes to succeed academically

* University Requirements & Academic Advising
* Lunch
* More Academic Advising & Course Selection
* Registration for Classes
* University Resource Fair (plan to depart SSU after 5PM; please make travel plans accordingly)</p>

<p>Thanks, kluge! I’ve been counting said blessings every day, and I’m spending as much time as I can with my friends from HS before I leave in August. :frowning: talk about your bittersweet times.</p>

<p>In fact, I’ll have my (BRAND NEW…a grad gift from my parents ^_^) laptop with me, so maybe I’ll be able to update you guys while I’m there!</p>

I always enjoy your posts and often wish I had a daughter like you, so enthusiastic about all aspects of life! Like my screenname indicates, I have 3 boys and they are just so buttoned up!</p>

<p>Please let us know SOON how your trip goes and all about your school…it’s nice to learn about a school that’s not often discussed on CC.</p>
