Can anyone offer me some advice? Does the IB program help alot? Should i take it?

Take the hardest classes offered to you, but keep up your grades. Don’t concentrate on getting into college. If you do your best in all your activities, colleges will be happy to take you. You don’t “need” to get into an Ivy League. Think about what you want to do in college, whether a big or small university is a good fit for you, whether you want a competitive or nurturing environment, etc. Focus on your own activities and goals…there are excellent prestigious colleges out there for everyone that aren’t “Ivy leagues.”

For now, the only suggestions I have are: pursue your passions to the max (look up some national awards, etc.) and keep up your grades. Junior grades are really important, especially for someone whose GPA has been pretty low so far (ie, you). Oh yeah, and don’t obsess about college. It won’t do you any good.
