<p>So… I took the SAT in January and got a 1900 (690 CR, 650 M, 560 W) with little to no studying. I was wondering if any of you guys took the SAT in 10th grade and how much growth you made between then and Senior year? Also is 1900 a decent score for a Sophomore looking at Davidson College in NC?</p>
<p>This is a great start :). Was this a practice test or an actual SAT sitting? You did well for a sophamore --I think this comes out to be somewhere btw. the 80-90 percentile? My advice to you would be to prep well before next SAT (wait until Mar. junior year so that you don’t have too many sittings on college applications senior year). You do need to bring up the writing score and there are strategies to the essay that you can only learn well through a good course. Your CR and M will come up somewhat on there own, but you still need to bring them up into the 700’s for Davidson. The prepping really does pay off, S went from a 2080 sophamore year to a 2300 after course junior year (800cr,790w,710m). Good luck!</p>
