Rising sophomore at UMass studying comp sci. Right now my courses look like this: French Studies 280 (AL gen-ed), CS 220, CS 250, Math 233, and Public Health 160 (gen-ed).
I am thinking about changing French 280 to Chem 112 because I want to get chem 112 out of the way asap. This upcoming semester might be the easiest semester I will have. I will need to take 2 or 3 CS classes every semester from now on. It might be better to study chem 112 with relatively easier cs classes?
I still have AL, HS, and SB/I/SI/AL/HS requirements yet to be fulfilled. On top of that, I need to take chem 112, math 233, and math 235 for my major. How might I spread out my classes? I took 4 classes/semester freshman year and really don’t know if it’s a good idea to take 1 gened and 4 stem classes in one semester (chem 112, cs 220, cs 250, and math 233).
Any advice will be appreciated!
