Sororities @ Cornell

Why money is involved with the recruitment?

redcomet: no its not. cant really think of a great example, but its like how baseball teams dont play against softball teams, even though its practically the same game, premise wise. and just because you are in an IFC doesnt mean that you cant mingle or hang out with students in the multicultural frats and sororities. its all about choice. do i want to rush or not? ok do i want to be in XXX sorority or a multicultural one? there is no separate but equal. if you were involved in greek life, you would know too

MGLC and IFC/Panhel systems are much different than each other. First of all MGLC chapters are much smaller. The smallest chapter I believe has 7 members while the largest has about 40+. The asian-interest houses make up 50% of the entire MGLC. Additionally, IFC/Panhel chapters are much more focused on drinking at their events. All MGLC events are dry and are much more focused on dancing.
