<p>for sororities at cornell is it true that you have to get 3 rec letters for each sorority on campus??</p>
<p>im from texas so i think its different in the south…but at a sorority workshop they told everyone they needed 3 recs per sorority due may 1st.</p>

<p>This is how sorority rush works:
In January everyone has the opton of coming back to school a week early for rush week. During rush week all the girls visit all 12 sorority houses for five days. Each day you get to cut a few houses and the houses get to cut you. You’ll finally be down to three houses and you will get a bid from one of them. Once you get your bid you will have pledging for about two months which consists of going to mixers at fraternities and getting drunk as well as getting gifts during big/little week. Sounds like a lot of fun right?</p>
<p>ok thank god. everyone at my school was freaking out for a week about getting recs and not knowing anyone in such and such sorority. i was kinda skeptical about it tho…so you dont need any recs at all?</p>
