does anyone know what they mean by regitering for sorities/ Are you required to register and pay money as the first part of trying join a sorority or can’t you just rush for free?

You can’t rush for free, you 've got to signup online and pay a fee.

Roughly…what are the fees?

There is a fee to rush. The Greek website doesn’t state what the on-time fee is but as of Aug 1st it is $115 to rush.

You can call the office of Greek Life at 850-644-9574.

I’m sure they can give you the cost of rushing, pledging and fees for active members.

Its $95 to sign up now online to rush. Search for office of Greek Life on teh FSU webstie then look for the link under the Panhellenic page. If you are there for summer you can probably go to the office in the Union and sign up and pay as well.

Thanks for the info. My s was thinking about getting info on fraternities. We were wondering what the approximate costs were to join…dues, yearly fees, etc. It’s probably different for each fraternity, but I was just looking for an approximate.
