Sorry, Another chances topic

GPA : 3.57

SAT: 1900
Subject tests: Re-taking

AP: Chemistry (3) Statistics (3)

Service hours: 140, half of which were spent working at the Planetary Society in Pasadena.

I also took Geometry at a community college the summer after freshmen year if that helps at all

ECs:

COSMOS summer research program in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering at UCI.

Eagle Scout

Recently got my open water scuba diving certification

Volunteering at the Planetary Society and working with some of the Caltech staff there.

Started and online business when I was 14 and have been running it almost ever since.

Currently helping an adult education school with their website and brochure

Enjoy Model rocketry and teaching myself robotics/programming in my spare time.

My initial guess would be a big reach if any chance at all since my GPA and SAT are relatively low, but any information would be great.

Thanks

Forgot to add…

Im an in-state white male and will be a senior this fall

You would need to raise your SATs at least 200 points to get u within THAT range, as for your GPA I really do not know how to comment on that it should be much higher, especially if you have only taken 3 AP exams. And as for THOSE AP exams they seem rather iffy considering a majority of the Mudd student body has or could have gotten 5s.

However, your ECs looks pretty cool. Although I cannot say for sure, starting your own business at the age of 14 seems amazing to me, as well as some of the researchy stuff you have done.

Overall I would say: Raise your SATs to at least 2150 (pref 750M, 700V, 700W) and do 750+ in your SATIIs. With that, apply early decision and you might stand a shot if you have really sold letters or rec.

Thats really all i can say with ur GPA
