Sorry another "what are my chances", but what are my chances?

First of all, fair warning…I am BAD at Math!

GPA 3.97
SAT I 720V 620M (ouch!)
SAT II’s 700 average (800 writing, but again Math brings me down)

Straight A’s and A-‘s in everything, except for one B+ in 10TH grade (Math, of course) I have always challenged myself with honors level Math, and received A’s or A-‘s, except in 10th grade Math

Numerous honors classes and 5 AP’s

School does not rank, but probably about top 10%. Very tough college prep school that sends multiple kids each year to Stanford.

Semi-great essays, as I am a good writer. Not a long list of EC’s, as I have committed myself to a few activities that I am passionate about, particularly a very unique community service project that I have received some local recognition for.

Neither parent went to college, although I have 2 grandfathers that graduated from Stanford.

My mom was diagnosed with advanced cancer before my sophomore year, which is why I think it was hard for me to concentrate on my Math that year. She is doing pretty well right now.

Do I have any chance at all?

You stand a chance, and I thought it was a really good one when you said both parents didnt go to college, but if you have two grandfathers that graduated from Stanford, that changes things a bit…just write good essays, then you have a fighting chance.

2 grandfathers graduated from Stanford? wow, I think you have a chance better than most applicants. Test scores are around average of Stanford acceptees…
