Self:
Staylazy (http://www.staylazy.net)
Staylazy, being named so for the sake of irony as there is nothing lazy about the effort, is a company I created a few years ago to release software under. My projects have been aimed towards the development of software that compliments Apple?s iPod (as I explained in my application essay)

Canto Pod is my most critically acclaimed project and the one that has been featured in the largest amount of media reports and received the most downloads. It connects with the internet automatically when a user loads the software, and downloads song lyrics onto his or her iPod. Canto Pod has over 25,000 downloads and has been rated as the 3rd most needed iPod software by Cnet.com

Weather for Me is a program that downloads the weather forecast to a users iPod. It has been featured in the New York Times and countless websites.

Extra/Hooks?
Sister is currently a senior at Boston University.
Mother battled cancer throughout my high school years. Wrote one essay explaining the struggle and the effects it caused on me, especially in school and at work. Really good paper.
Essay on importance of BU and Boston, detailing how I fell in love with the school when my sister entered as a freshmen and have been since. Let them know its my absolute first and last choice.

I’m in the same positin as you when it comes to stats… ours are pretty much the same excpet i have a higher GPA and a lower SAT scores.

I have no idea because admissions is such a crap shoot this year.

All i can say is best of luck and hopefully ill see you at BU next year.

i think you’ll get into CGS.

Thanks guys. Anyone else?

Honestly who knows…and I don’t mean that meanly. You stand a good chance, but there are tons of applicants this year and as you know sometimes people with really high stats get rejected and people with lower ones get in and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. It must have something to do with quotas, or filling a particular niche or something.

Anyway, good luck and hopefully we’ll all get great news.

if i had to say accepted rejected or waitlisted

id say accepted

good luck

Thanks guys.

Does anybody know if BU looks at combined high SAT scores?

I was sick and had one really bad sitting where my english score went up by about 30 but my math dropped about 100 points.
