<p>I’ve started my Common App essay, and I was wondering whats the minimum/maximum number of pages (I’m using Microsoft Word) my essay should be? One of my essays is turned out to be 8 pages long. Yes I know that is DEFINITELY way too long. When I start writing, I just can’t stop haha</p>
<p>colleges have so many essays…i would say 2…but the most important thing is that you can convey your whole message, despite the length…yes, 8 is waay too long</p>

<p>well my essay was about my family and i loosing our home during the whole katrina experience so i tend to write like crazy about it… therapeutic i suppose</p>
