Sort of paranoid

Soooo. I was one of those people who thought that by sending my enrollment deposit I automatically get the financial awards offered to me. Well actually I knew I had to reply, I just wasn’t thinking about it, and I still had had to ask my parents if they wanted the loans in addition to the grants, and I just never got around to it til last night.

Anyway, my concern is… I submitted my financial aid reply (accepting all of the offers) online last night (May 1) at around 11:30pm, and got a confirmation email. Despite the email, I’m still kinda freaking out because I feel like they’ll say uh oh she sent it so late right before the end of May 1, so we won’t give her the money we offered.

I’ve been trying to make myself feel better by saying, people ENROLL at the last minute all the time, right?!

Anyone have any experience in this? I have to wait this whole weekend to give them a call and make sure they have my thing updated, I’ve already sent them an email last night.

Thanks for reading haha

You’ll be fine, don’t worry about. It’s much easier for the admissions and financial aid offices to just give you what they offered than to take it away and have to reallocate it.

You got a confirmation email? I do not remember getting one.

Yeah I did
