I got a 34 ACT (+36 writing) (only took once) and just got back my sat2 scores. I got an 800 on german (but i grew up there so it doesnt really count) and a 770 on US history. i got 5s in ap bio and ap us history but got a 740 on my bio sat2… im planning on applying to yale SCEA but am worried now because i don’t have great sat2s!! Should i restudy for bio to do better or are my scores fine? SOS
If you’re going into a bio major, a higher SAT II would help. Universities tend to put more weight on SAT II’s than AP’s so it would probably be in your best interest to retake it. You’ve got almost three whole months to study, so I’d recommend finding a solid test prep book and taking lots of practice exams so you’re really comfortable with the test. You’ve already got great scores, so you don’t have far to go. Good luck!
