has anybody has trouble with sound on alcohol edu? the sound on my computer works, i’ve tried it on internet explorer and firefox and the video just plays with no sound…
i’ve also checked the box for closed captioning, and that doesn’t even come up. what am i doing wrong?

If you want to just skip the videos you can if you know how to work their site.

You just have to fool their site into thinking the video is over before it actuall is.

[Alcohol Edu at dottob](http://www.dottob.net/archives/alcoholedu)

^ that didn’t work for me, what am i doing wrong?

Just sit and wait for the video to be over, who cares what it has to say. Browse the internet in another tab/window.

Does the exam score affect my GPA or anything else?

No, it’s entirely anonymous/confidential anyway.

I was the anti-poster child for Alcohol EDU. I bet they looked at my results and were like “oh w-t-f we did something wrong here.”

On the original survey taken during the summer, I put down that I had never had alcohol before. It was true, too. I was a non-drinker with no plans to drink. As soon as I got to school though, I went party crazy (and keep straight A grades too!) But when they ask you to do a survey again in October to check your status, suddenly it was like “Drink 8+ drinks at each event”, “3-4 times a week I go out partying”, etc. It’s probably a huge w-t-f for them.

So are you saying that it’s easy to pass the test without even hearing what the videos are saying?

LOL, Y2K, I was just like you, except that I waited until my sophomore year to start partying! Of course, they didn’t try to educate us about alcohol back then!

There are two types of videos

The thing I said above only works for the ones with real people

I don’t know how to skip the animated ones.

Also, if you want to hurry through you don’t have to fill out their surveys or questions before the final exam.

The final exam is the only thing that counts.
