I’m looking for artsy medical posters to be used as a gift for a recent med school grad. Any ideas?

Etsy? Mr. B was once given some framed vintage Soviet propaganda posters on chemical safety… There is some crazy stuff that can be found on Etsy. :slight_smile:

Or art.com. This is assuming you are looking for reproductions, not original. Here’s an example:

It is the world’s most user unfriendly site but there is lots of cool stuff if you dig.

I would consider searching for 18th and 19th century medical etchings. You can often find cool ones on ebay. Or, if you are okay with reproductions, you can also find them on art.com.

Order them on good heavy paper, even though it is more expensive.

One of our clinics used these type of posters for “art” recently. Everyone is very interested in guessing what germ the prints are!!!
