This sounds like a good safety school for me, small class size, Ashland area is nice, beautiful campus, driving distance from my hometown, but I’m worried about the low 68% retention rate. Anyone have any experience/insight with Southern Oregon University? Would love to hear your take on this school.
The low retention rate is due to the low selectivity: some students get in but flounder and leave. Beautiful area and campus, plus the Shakespeare festival, and, I believe, decent merit aid if it is a safety for you.
