I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. Both great schools in my opinion, and I can’t decide. My parents make about 55-60k and LFC would cost 26k and Southwestern 24k, so money is kind of a factor. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!!

If you have a specific interest, take a look at the differences between the departments. Go the department websites. Also take a look at the actual course schedules to see what is offered. There’s the obvious weather difference and LFC would be less isolated although Georgetown is not far from Austin at all.

In terms of numbers, they are very similar. Some differences, Southwestern has a significantly larger endowment and spends a lot more per student. LFC is more diverse racially/ethnically (not a lot but probably enough to be noticeable) and economically, more Pell Grant students.

Contact the admissions office and ask if you can talk to some students, either email or phone. It might help you get a better feel for the differences between the two schools.
