<p>well the polish people were very religious and catholic while the russians, being communists, didn’t believe in religion</p>
<p>Poland was much, much less ethnically diverse than Russia.
Just look at the map - Russian people are all over, from white to asian.
Poland is very white. Much more homogenous culture.</p>
