Yeah, what was that about? DH said, “I don’t mind the video issues.” I replied, “But it’s not rocket science!” ?
Mr. says Elon will definitely smoke something potent tonight! ? We are drinking mimosas with our friends… it is a virtual launch party!!!
What an inspiring sight! I’m so relieved that everything went well.
We streamed NASA tv. No commercials either but some kind of silly chatter from the hosts.
Wow!
We decided on CNN on the big screen (muted) and NASA on the computer. NASA was a few seconds behind due to streaming. I started with The Discovery Channel on the tv, but they kept losing their signal, so switched to CNN.
I don’t know what channels will broadcast the Space Station docking, so I will watch on my computer with NASA.
I watched. I cheered. Looking forward to the landing.
This nation needs some good news. Thank you NASA and Elon Musk.
We were out enjoying the weather and realized we wouldn’t get home quite in time, so pulled into a parking lot and watched it on the screen in the Tesla. Seemed appropriate.
I got a FB post from a college friend who was the engineer in charge of the space station arm for many years. It was exciting to see how excited she was.
We loved it all. Will watch the docking tomorrow am. Much better than riots.
So exciting! I was nervous, but I’m so glad it went so smoothly. I’ll have to get up early tomorrow morning to watch the docking.
Very cool. My niece also got married today. Just the couple and parents due to covid. Nice to have two positive things to hold on to today
Loved it. A welcome and bright spot in these awful times.
We watched it too. Amazing!
We just watched the docking to the space station. If anyone is interested in other coverage on https://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/#public here is the schedule. All times are EST.

it has been great to watch, yesterday and today. the video quality is amazing, really. we have the laptop hooked up to the big screen
we watched a rocket launch in 2015 in florida, and that was a blast. Loved it. thinking about that made me think of how we also loved the totality of the eclipse in 2017; and I started looking up when the next big one is - April 8, 2024. This is such a good escape from what’s going on in the real world.
I am totally fascinated this morning watching the crew of the ISS getting ready for the astronauts to come on board. It should be very soon!
@bgbg4us , we are also psyched for the next eclipse! If anyone hasn’t seen the map, it will cut a path from the Pacific coast of Mexico to Maine, so lots of chances for folks to see it.
Who is hoping their kid chooses a college in the zone of totality so you can kill two birds with one stone?
Having said that, the weather is likely to be better in Austin or Dallas, TX than in Bloomington, IN or Buffalo, NY.
Austin (my hometown) and our cabin in the Maine mountains are both in the path. We will need a snowmobile to get to our cabin to see it in April. Maybe we’ll fly to Austin to see it. Assuming we can fly by 2024, ha.
“we watched a rocket launch in 2015 in florida, and that was a blast. “
Pun intended?
