Spanish 4 or medical Electives????

<p>I am a sophmore right now taking spanish 3.
Next year I am debating taking spanish 4 or Medical electives.
Which one is more beneficial for the BS/MD programs??

<p>My school offers med. electives some of which are really interesting like microbiology, pharmacology etc.</p>

<p>I can only make room for them if I drop spanish next year. So I was wondering …</p>

<p>Seriously though, if theyre both weighted the same and it won’t affect your rank,
do which one you want to do.</p>

<p>Well is Spanish IV (AP) a weighted GPA vs. the other “medical” courses unweighted?</p>

<p>If they are unweighted, then it is likely to bring down your rank.</p>

<p>Well if both are given the same number of extra grade points (being weighted), then pick which one you like: Micro and Pharmacology sound like good ones. It’s also something good to talk about in interviews that you’ve taken undergrad courses they are at the college-level which would be helpful to build on in medical school: Micro and Pharm etc.</p>
