Does anyone know how Professor Quicoli curves the Spanish/Portuguese M35 class? From my sources, it seems that
70%+ of the class get an A or A+, but was curious to know if there was a certain overall raw percentage needed for the A, since my TA was a bit picky on some of my HW assignments (I have been averaging around 82% on HW assignments). Thanks!!

I took M35 a few years ago. I’m pretty sure it’s still straight scale and you need 93 or above to get an A. For us, we had 5 in-class quizzes, 6 assignments, and 2 exams. You shouldn’t have any trouble with the exams if you review the HW and examples done in lecture and discussion (don’t skip it). I fell asleep at some point almost every lecture, as the professor tended to repeat a lot of stuff, but I breezed through the class (I did have an awesome TA). The exams should make up for your HW grade, you’ll be fine.

Thanks for the input. Does anyone else have any additional info. regarding grade distributions etc.? Thanks!
