I signed up for the Spanish SAT II, and I can’t really remember why…I love Spanish but I don’t think I know enough “textbook” type stuff to get a good score. I’m taking it Nov. 4th, but I was hoping there might be a list of stuff it asks that I could quickly review and make sure I know/learn. Is there a way I could find out, i.e. vocab and verb tenses sort of info?
Thank you!

You have to study Analogias and sentence completion

if the test is based on textbooks, as high school classes are, then it’s a ludicrous test. most high schoolers after years and years of AP/honors/IB/etc. language classes still have a terrible command of the language. i’ve independently studied german on my own for just over a year and GERs get mad when i start talking to them in hessisch [;

but to answer your question, as long as the spanish tests are the same as the german tests i’ve seen, just know the language. if you have to think a lot about the grammar or try to recall most of the vocab, you prob. aren’t ready for it. even moreso if you signed up for the version with listening.

be prepared for passages and advertisements

I took a practice test in GER last night. if the same holds true for the spanish test:

a) know the grammar, even the stuff that’s not used or practical, like Subjunctive I in german
b) be very well rounded in your vocabulary, or expect to get things wrong
