Speakers for my laptop and iPhone 5?

<p>I’m going to back to school in a few weeks and I want speakers that will service both my iPhone 5 and my laptop. Can I get regular speakers and then just get proper cords to service my iPhone and laptop or do I need specific speakers that are only made for iPhones and laptops? </p>

<p>I haven’t bought speakers before and I really want some. Please help.</p>

<p>Any set of speakers that connects with a 3.5mm jack (pretty much all types of PC speakers) will work fine.</p>
