speaking of prereqs

i see all these threads with pre reqs for schools of management ( i.e. haas , stern, etc ) i don’t seem to know of any … maybe im just stupid and blind.but can somebody outline what courses i need to take to transfer to BU’s SMG? i’m actually aiming for a sophomore transfer

the obvious solution would be to go to the schools website, open the transfer admissions page, and look at the listed admission prereqs.

but BU’s nor NYU’s got one

<a href=“How to Apply”>How to Apply;

click on Stern.

If you’re under 80, you should be able to find this website in 5 seconds with google

BU’s policy is that you must take all of your management classes at SMG, though they’ll let you test out of Business Law, Accounting, and Operations Management if, upon reviewing the syllabus from your previous school, they find the course to be comparable. However, they’re pretty liberal about taking liberal arts courses.

Best bet? Take as many liberal arts requirements as you can now and save the management courses for when you transfer.

i got two different opinions on that. someone told me to make SURE i take micro and macro econ and continue with calc 2 and all that. and not to stress on english b/c BU prides themselves on their eng program so ill have to do it over again . . true? so far i plan on taking these classes before i even put up my app
accounting 101 and 102 , eng 101 and 102, calc 1 & 2, micro and macro econ, principles of marketing and principles of management . western civ 1 & 2
