Special programs at Northwestern (Weinberg)?

Are they counted as majors? Can one join a special program and still have 3 (other) majors and minors?

Specifically about the Brady Scholars Program in Ethics and Civic Life: Since it is a three-year course that involves some studying abroad, is it compatible with other majors?

The two questions are actually very similar. My situation is that I want to major in Economics and I’m also very interested in the Brady Scholars Program.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

^Yes. NU is extremely flexible and hands off. You can pretty much have whatever combination you can squeeze into your schedule.

Econ and Brady Scholars grad here – there were two or three others in my outgoing class, both of which double majored (one in Philosophy, the other in Poli Sci I believe). And while I didnt double major, I was able to graduate a quarter early with a minor as well (Business Instiutions). Go for it!
