<p>Well I had an overall good impression of emory and wonder if theres anything unique to this school? Like how kalamazoo has the K plan, and cornell college has its one course at a time thing, are there any unique programs here?</p>
<p>i’m not sure if emory has programs like that but some of these might be what you are talking about. FAME (freshman advising and mentoring at emory) is a required one hour “class.” it is basically a time where a group of about 15 first year students is given the opportunity to be guided by about six people. they range from professors to staff to upper classmen. it is more of a bonding experience than anything. another organization that sounds similar to the ones you mentioned is the Emory scholars program. a select group of people are given scholarships for tuition ranging from 1/2 - full. they are also given stipends during the year and summer to go to various events. the INSPIRE and SURE programs are both available to first year students and they allow for research in many different fields. maybe someone else can give you other unique features of emory.</p>
