Special Treatment for Celebs?

Can someone tell me why Linsay Lohan doesn’t need to see any jail time after being arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license (not 1st time DUI offender) and felony drug possession? Did the charges somehow drop or she wasn’t convicted? Was the case somehow settled by some plea agreements? Is this a typical outcome for people who aren’t celebs? If not, what contributes the difference (e.g., better defense lawyers)? I am just trying to comprehend the justice system. ;)

She hasn’t been tried yet. Charged but not tried.

my friend told me when he was in Singapore around 1993 or so, there was this guy who got caught at the airport for drug possession. the guy didn’t even mean to go to singapore; his flight had to detour and landed there. it took only 10 days from the time he was arrested to him being tried and then executed!

I think LiLo is going to do 4 days in “pay your own way” private jail for the first offense and then may get the book thrown at her for the second since she will be on probation. She won’t work for a long time because she’s uninsurable.

special treatment starts with serving underage celebs booze at clubs and getting away with it, what, nobody cards anymore

it is amazing non of these irresponsible jerks of celebs who drink do drugs and drive have killed anyone

she is guily of stupity and selfishness and thinking she is entitled
