<p>Are there any significant advantages to specializing? Do you gain a competitive edge over other graduates without the specialization? </p>
<p>Also, should this be an important factor to consider when choosing a university? I don’t want to give up a university I prefer (which I like better in non-academic criteria), but if the advantages are good, I am very willing to do this.</p>
