Specific ACT English Question

Can someone please tell me the answer and then give an explanation?

“I knew that I would impress my boss unless I presented an excellent idea.”

Does there have to be a comma after boss? Why or why not? Thanks! Is there a website that lists specific comma rules to remember for the ACT?

This whole sentence doesn’t make sense. I think you meant to type: “I knew that I would not impress my boss unless I presented an excellent idea.” No, there would not be a comma in this case.

@outlooker Yes, that’s what I meant. Sorry, I was typing a a little too fast.
