Will my selected major require admissions to look at that subject area more intensely on my transcript? For instance, if I apply as a biology major, will they stress my science grades more when they read through my transcript or will it be weighed the same as all other subject matters?

My regional representative says that you are looked at by the same committee as everyone, but if you put down a major, someone who knows specifically about that major may also look at your application. The major is not in any way set in stone, everyone comes in undeclared. It just helps to identify your interests and match you with an advisor if you go to Penn.
