<p>I was wondering if any of you have your son/daughter take speed reading program.

<p>Rising senior daughter just finished this course. She took the course in the hope that it would help her with the SAT reading comprehension, since she wasn’t getting through the sections quickly enough. I hope it will help her to better utilize her time in college reading assignments as well. She was fairly pleased with the results, thinks she is reading more quickly with increased comprehension.</p>
<p>what ever program you take, if you can read with greater comprehension and speed- you’d be miles ahead in your assignments.</p>
<p>DS developed his own method. In third grade (skipped 2nd) he breezed through his reading that the teacher had to take him aside and quiz him. He’d go went thought LoTR and HP books in a day each-I told him that he needed to enjoy the imagery of the words. I got the blank stare.</p>
