What is the best way to approach the questions on the SAT? Should you take your time and debate each question and answer choice or should you work through it as quickly as possible, so as to not second guess yourself?

i go fast and check my work. not sure if that’s the best way though

I am a pretty fast worker, so I stick with a question until I am sure my answer is correct. If I get frustrated or spend too much time, I asterisk the question and come back at the end of the section. I usually have time left over to check ones that I’m not too sure on.

If I think my time is running low, I will also mark questions I didn’t check to go over at the end.

To quote the movie “Shooter”- excellent movie btw- “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast”. Pretty much work at the slowest pace possible that lets you get done with about 5 minutes left to go back and check the “unsure” problems and perhaps do 1 “need to do” problem that seemed too hard on the first pass.
