<p>I was recently accepted and I was wondering what to expect. </p>
<p>I went for a visit over the summer but The tour was short and we were only allowed to view the outsides of the buildings. </p>
<p>Are the freshman dorms really horrible?
Do the girls really stay life-long friends with their paired Moreahouse brothers?
Do the ClarkAtl students really view the Spelman girls as sadity?</p>
<p>I was recently waitlisted to Spelman so if you are really anxious imagine being me : P
Same here though, I was able to tour Spelman this summer as well and we really didn’t get around to seeing much. Chances are as an incoming freshman your dorms won’t be anything special (though still very nice), the dorms where starlets liike Oprah and India Aire are rumored to even have stayed in a few times are for upperclassmen and honors students. I heard they use swamp coolers in the summer, no air conditioning but then again the weather there is different than what I’m used to. Also, it’s a gated community! That in itself is a definite plus!
lol, as far as the Spelman/Clark ATL girls relationship, I can pretty much attest to the validity of that being that my friend (who happened to be Ms. Maroon and white 1st attendant) seemed to have some squeemishness towards Clark girls lol so I’m sure they probebly feel likewise( : My mom also attended Spelman for a semester and she highly discourages me from Clark</p>
