Splitting up SAT Scores?

Which universities allow a student to split up Sat scores? My daughter is applying to Tuffs, Vassar, Bard, Boston College and some UC schools.

Bard doesn’t require SAT scores at all

What do you mean by “split up” SAT scores? Do you mean that the college considers the highest score in each segment, regardless of when taken? Versus the highest score at one sitting?

I think that most highly selective schools take the highest score from each section of each sitting. They then use this same approach to report the SAT scores for their school yielding a higher number.

I just mean taking the highest score from each section.

Vassar and Tufts do; I believe BC does. However, the UCs do not - they take the best from one sitting.

PS: The phrase you’ll read on these boards to describe the situation you posit is “superscore”. You’ll find lots of threads about it if you search for that word.
