Sport diploma

I was the member of the National team in swimming, but then the team broke up in small clubs. I think the fact that im the good swimmer will help me in application process, but i dont have the diploma which proves that i was in the national team, do universities requre this diplomas??? or i must just write down that i was in the national team?

What matters most is whether you plan to continue swimming in college. If yes, then what coaches will want to see are your times and events swum. Coaches want to know if you will help them win meets, regardless of the level you achieved in your home country or club. If no, then you can list being on the national team as an extracurricular activity, and perhaps describe in one of your essays what that meant to you (responsiblilites, acting as a role model for younger swimmers, travel experiences for example). I doubt that anyone in the US would need to see a diploma, but rather will be concerned with the effects of the experience on your swimming and your life. Good luck! It sounds like you have already had some wonderful experiences!

thanks for reply.
And does it have any sence to count swimming as a extracurricular activity or to continiue it in the college. I mean, will my decision to continue swimming in college be more powerfull, than just counting it as an extracurricular activities. I plan to join college swimming team in second study year, not first. (is it possible?)
And you mensioned “describe in one of your essays” am i suposed to write several motivation essays or just one?
