I was wondering if anyone knew wheter the college has classes that discuss the economics of modern day sports? Also, do the economic professors and students like to discuss economic theories a lot?

i dont know about your second question… as to your first question, Northwestern has a program specifically called Sports Management (or something to that affect) in the school of continuing studies (not an undergrad school)… i imagine if you really wanted, you might be able to take a class in that program… Keep in mind that generally the college does not offer such specific majors.

I don’t know if Northwestern offers courses specifically for undergrads. I’m sure athletes have access to such opportunities, but I only know of sports-related courses in sociology and communications. I would strongly call WCAS and Communication, and possibly the Athletic Dept, to see if they offers sports management-related programs. If I don’t know, like TheCity has commented above, chances are, we don’t offer such a program.
