Sports Suspensions

Are suspensions from school related sports reported to colleges? Thanks in advance.

At my school every type of suspension and referral are reported. Why? So that they can screw over students in admissions. Only if they gave us a chance to show them that we have CHANGED since getting those suspensions/referrals and grew out of it…

You can (and many applications actually encourage this) write to explain any disciplinary issues in a personal statement or essay.

Your best bet is to try and sound like the martyred Christ, a wounded but truly righteous figure unjustly persecuted by the totalitarian forces of your school administration.

But if it was just like an arguing charge that got you thrown out of a game and suspended for a few more, would that be reported?

getting suspended from sports games is not a disciplinary issue. you were suspended by athletic officials, not your school’s administration. i doubt your school’s administration knows or cares about it.

They don’t hear or care about that.

If anything, you should write an essay about how your intensity pumps up your team but gets you kicked out. I would laugh and appreciate something like that.
