Spring 2007 Transfers

All the fall transfers are gearing up for move in (or, in the case of a few, are settling in already!). So what are the winter/spring transfers up to?

What are your plans for this fall? When do you start in the spring? How are you feeling about having a couple more months before you actually start school?

Me, I’m planning on taking a few more courses this fall, online. I was gypped out of the IGETC and so I have a few GEs to cover just yet. My classes start January 16th, so I’ve got a little ways to go! I’m a little sad I won’t be starting in the fall – well, okay, a lot sad. But I’ve long since determined I’m not allowed to have a “normal” college experience, and so I’ll embrace this.

gah, i feel you. I’m transferring to Harvard in the spring and I’m NOT going back to UVM for fall, I’m taking classes at a visiting student at WUSTL and working for Claire McCaskill who’s running for Senate to unseat a smarmy Republican named Jim Talent. It’s going to be a long semester. My friends have dubbed it 'the semester ‘o solitude’ since they all go to school in New England and NYC and I’m living at home. here’s to making friends with underpaid democratic staffers who like to drink at cheap bars as they watch their candidates fall behind in fundraising after long days at work. cheers.

haha do you have political aspirations Shaganov?

i’m currently attending Kent State and will be transferring to Edinoboro Univ. in the spring…kinda nervous but excited b/c i’m getting real fed up with Kent and the bs that comes along with Kent…Hey does anyone know what happens to my aid as I go from Kent State to Edinboro…Will my aid change at all? Just curious…
