<p>@saammmaay and @135pipe … Having Calculus 1 & 2 is not a requirement to get into CNS. I got into CNS Biology with just statistics. </p>
<p>Stats can be used as equivalent for calculus. You need either Calc or stats to get in</p>
<p>well I had calculus 1 and a whole biology sequence, 3.7 gpa, and great essays and got rejected from CNS so maybe it ultimately comes down to luck. I sent an appeal already though. @utpatriot17 do you think that having letters of rec from UT alumni helped you a lot? </p>
<p>then again, i applied for fall 2014 (which is right now) and asked if I could move my acceptance (I got accepted into my second choice: Cola undeclared) until spring 2015. maybe fall 2014 was a little more competitive. </p>

<p>Calc 2 A
Chem 1 A
Physics 1 A
History A</p>
<p>and boosted my gpa to a 3.8. If my appeal doesn’t get approved i think I’m going to go crazy. </p>
<p>I also redeemed credit for my AP scores for Statistics also. </p>

<p>Im applying for Fall of 2015 for Cockrell , my desired Major is ECE , and my backup major is UGS , I’m CAP so UGS is guaranteed for the most part.</p>
<p>I got a 3.94 GPA for the Fall of 2014 Semester , and will try to maintain or get a higher GPA next semester ; i have a good amount of EC’s and atleast 2 rec letters , so how will my chances look if i maintain that GPA with all the requirements </p>

<p>@Kyotoraz Well last semester or Fall of 2014 i took : Cal 1 , Art History , Algebra Based Physics 1 , Algebra Based Physics 1 Lab , Freshman Inquiry Class(required Freshman Course) , and Writing Composition 2 . I got A’s in everything besides an A- in Writing Composition 2.</p>
<p>Next semester I’m taking : Calculus 2 , Engineering Physics 1 , Engineering Physics 1 Lab , Texas Politics , and Introduction to Literature .</p>
<p>I have AP credit for : US History (both 1&2), Computer Science 1&2 , MacroEcon , Human Geography , American Politics , and Writing Composition 1.</p>

<p>@MyLonghorn You shouldn’t be worried at all especially with those grades and the fact you’re already in the system due to CAP. Just finish strong and we will see you in the Fall!</p>
