I am in-state, and I applied as a first year student for Spring '27. I was waitlisted by Madison for Fall '26, and then committed to another University, but changed my mind and took a gap semester. Since Madison allows first years to start in Spring, I went ahead and submitted another application since I was applying to other schools anyway. I’m really curious to know how competitive spring admissions are at Madison for first year (not transfer). They do not publish Spring stats and there are few posts online from prospective students (as compared to Fall). Would appreciate hearing from anyone that went through it - or is also applying.
